You don’t need to get into a Coding Bootcamp to learn software development. Nor do you need a big investment.
Check out these alternatives.
Coursera - Coursera allows watching courses for free using the Audit option. You won’t get certificates but they don’t matter anyway.
Udemy - Udemy has cheap $10 courses. You can find a good 0 to X course in there for everything. Eg - 0 to Web Developer course. 0 to Python Developer Course. That one course is all you need to get your first job.
YouTube - YouTube has free videos on everything. Just search and get learning.
FreeCodeCamp - A free beginner to web developer online course. Highly recommended.
Learning from any of these websites is enough to land you your first software engineering job. And once you are there, you can take any expensive courses you want.
There are more such websites out there but for now, this is all you need.
