Always use the same profile picture in all your Internet accounts that are part of your “brand".
What do I mean by “brand” here?
A brand is the face of a business.
The job of a business is to provide services and products and make money.
Since you provide your services as a professional to your company and get paid in return, so you are like a business.
And an Internet account is one of your faces, i.e. your brand.
So it makes sense if it is consistent across everywhere.
Think about it, will you buy from a clothing or electronics brand if it used different brand logos everywhere, every day?
No. A brand needs consistency to get familiarised.
And you only buy from it once you are familiar enough.
It’s the same for your Internet persona.
Make it uniform so clients, prospects, and peers get time to get familiarised with it and start trusting it.
Btw, your brand may not include your Instagram or Twitch profile since these are not work-related.
For developers, work-related profiles are GitHub, LinkedIn, Twitter, Stack Overflow, DEV(.)to and maybe Facebook.
It’s enough to just get them uniform.
