I am not a fan of government jobs, especially in India.
Almost 100% of the government employees I know cheat on their jobs.
They do ‘meh’ to no work and still get the pay and then some.
Government infrastructure is not efficient.
It’s held together by bureaucracy.
That is, it stands on shaky fundamentals.
Sooner or later, the veil will be lifted and it will collapse.
So, it’s not a valid long term.
Because when it collapses, you will have nowhere to go since you won’t have any skills.
So it makes sense to avoid them in the first place and just focus on taking a legit career path and building valuable skills for the future.
Eg - Computer Engineering, Software Development, Game Development, Design, and the evergreens, Marketing, and Sales.
Learn them and you won’t have to depend on somebody (here, the government) for your career.
